Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 small box instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup crisco oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 shot glasses whiskey
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • ------------------------------------------------
  • sauce
  • 1/4 lb butter or margarine
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup whiskey

Preparation

Step 1

beat 5 minutes then add lightly floured nuts. put in greased and floured angel pan. bake at 350 for 60-75 minutes

when cake is done, take from oven, leave in pan and puncture holes with big fork. pour half of sauce over cake and let stand for 30 minutes. remove cake from pan, puncture holes in bottom of cake and pour remaining sauce on. let stand till cool. sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
