  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tbsp rum/sherry flavoring
  • 6 eggs

Step 1

preheat oven to 325. set out the butter, eggs, and sour cream to warm to room temperature. cream the butter and sugar together and add the eggs one at a time. alternate adding flour and sour cream. add the baking soda to the last tablespoon of the sour cream. stir in the flavoring. pour mixture into greased tube pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
