Ingredients

• 12 inch round 3 inches or deeper

• pie crust-I use betty crocker box pie crust, make recipe that calls for 1/3 cup cold water. roll out and line pan. sprinkle sugar on dough, about 1 1/2 tablespoon

• 3 lbs ricotta cheese(whole milk)
• 1 dozen eggs-beaten, put on side
• 1 cup coffee
• 1 big jar maraschino cherries and juice (10 oz or 2 small)
• 2 packets nestle liquid chocolate ( must use exact-no substitutions)
• 1 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup rum
• zest from 1 lemon
• zest from 1 orange
• 1 tablespoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

cream cheese and chocolate till mixed well

add eggs, sugar, coffee, cherry juice and zest, rum and vanilla

add cherries

pour into pan, will be like liquid. will fill almost to top. be careful to put in oven.( if spill, wipe out right away)

300 degrees for 3 hours
