Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 400F/200C.
2. Rinse brussels sprouts. Trim end so that there is no brown. Remove discolored leaves. Cut each sprout in half, through the stalk.
3. Put brussels sprouts in a baking dish or on a cookie sheet. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the sprouts. Sprinkle some water on the sprouts. Lightly dust with salt and pepper. Stir.
4. Put the sprouts in the oven for 15 minutes. Stir. Baked another 15 minutes.
