Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground sirloin
- 1/2 pound pork
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano

- 6 cups beef broth
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 can( 28 ounce) crushed tomatoes
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 box( 2/3-pound) spaghetti noodles, broken in half

Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl mix meat, egg, bread crumbs, garlic, salt, pepper and oregano together. Form into 1-inch balls and place in a large deep skillet. Pour water over to almost cover. cook over medium-high heat, turning, until done. 12-15 minutes. drain
meanwhile make soup: in large kettle, place broth, 1 1/2 cups water, tomatoes ( with juice), cheese, rosemary and basil. bring to a bowl, lower heat and simmer 20 minutes uncovered.add meatballs, bring to a boil and add noodles. simmer until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. serve with big chunks of garlic bread.
