Christmas 2012, roasted 2 turkey's 7.41kg & 7.54kg. They took 5 hours in a 325⁰F. Use small silicone pads, to prevent roasting pans from slipping.

Step 1

%{color: red}NOTE: if using teflon coated pans, use a small silicone mat%


For a stuffed turkey
3.0-3.5kg bake for 3 - 3 1/4 hours
3.5-4.5kg bake for 3 1/4 - 3 1/2 hours
4.5-5.5kg bake for 3 1/2 - 3 3/4 hours
5.5- 7 kg bake for 3 3/4 - 4 hours
7.0-10.kg bake for 4 - 4 1/2 hours
insert a meat thermometer in the inner thigh
180F for stuffed or 170F for unstuffed

When done remove from oven, cover with foil and allow to sit for 15 to 20 minutes.

NOTE: add 1 hours extra, if roasting 2 turkey's at the same time.
