Ingredients
- 1/3 c sugar
- 1/2 c water
- Juice of 1 lime
- 3 mangoes, peeled and guartered (chopped)
- 1 c mango juice (I used mango nectar)
- Lime slice or berries for garnish (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Place water and sugar in small sauce pan and simmer over medium heat til sugar is melted (stirring occasionally). Remove heat, add lime juice and pour into bowl to cool. Place mangoes and mango juice into blender or food processor and puree. Add to sugar syrup. Pour into shallow metal pan and freeze for 3 to 4 hours. Stir mixture ever hour, moving icy bits into center and leaving juice on outer edge. When ready to serve, put frozen granita into food processor pulse for 5 seconds. Spoon into dessert dishes and garnish.
