Ingredients

  • 32 Caramels
  • 5 Tbspn Milk
  • 1 C Flour
  • 1 C Rolled oats
  • 3/4 C Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 3/4 C Melted Butter
  • 1 C Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 C Chopped Walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Melt the caramels in the 5 tbspn milk
Set aside to cool slightly
Combine the rest of the ingredients except the Choc Chips and Walnuts in a large mixing bowl
Press half the crumbs in a 9x9 pan
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes, remove from oven
Sprinkle with the choc chips and walnuts
Carefully drizzle the caramel mixture all over
Sprinkle on remaining crumb mixture
Bake at 350 for 15-20 mins
Chill 1 to 2 hours
Cut into bars
