Ingredients
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 eggs

Step 1
to boiling water, add butter. stir with woden spoon until butter melts. add flour and salt, all at once. stir the mixture vigorously until well blended.
cook, stirring constantly until the dough pulls away from side of pan and forms a ball around the spoon. remove from heat and cool slightly. add 4 eggs one at a time, beating smooth after each one.
drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 3 inches from each other on greased baking sheet.
bake at 400 oven for 15 minutes, then turn down heat to 325 for 25 minutes. cool on wire rack
filling ideas-instant pudding, cool whip, frosting or pie filling.
