Ingredients
- 12 cups bread cubes
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup minced onion
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped with stalks and leaves
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp ground sage

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter; then saute onion and celery until onion is soft, stirring occasionally.
Stir in salt and pepper and sage. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Place bread cubes in large, deep bowl. Pour 1/4 cup mixture over cubes and toss well. Repeat until all of butter mixture is used. Toss lightly to coat.
