Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cups icing sugar
- 3 tbsp butter/margarine, softened
- 2 tbsp cream
- 1/2 tsp peppermint flavoring
- food coloring

Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredients together well. Dough should be fairly stiff but still pliable enough to roll. Add a bit more icing sugar or cream as needed for right consistency. Divide into separate chunks to tint different colors. Leave 1 chunk plain. Roll into rope about 1/2 inch in diameter. Cut into pieces. Let stand on waxed paper several hours at least overnight. May also be pressed into candy molds.
