Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. plum sauce
  • 3 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 piece gingerroot (1")
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp. grainy mustard
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 4 green onion fans for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

1. For marinade: in bowl, combine plum and soy sauce, gingerroot, oil, garlic, and mustard; stir well.
2. Place chicken breasts in resealable bag; pour mixture over chicken and refrigerate x 1 hr. or longer depending on depth of flavor desired. Remove chicken from marinade; reserve marinade. Place marinade in small saucepan, bring to a boil; reduce heat and cook x 5 minutes; keep warm.
3. Preheat grill on medium-high. Place chicken on oiled grill rack. Close lid and cook for 15 min. or until meat is tender and no longer pink inside. Brush occasionally with warm marinade; turn once.
