Ingredients
- 4-5 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup grated Swiss cheese
- Small bunch parsley, chopped
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 1 pt. whipping cream
- Extra grated Swiss cheese
- Butter

Preparation
Step 1
Season potatoes with salt and pepper. Rub a 2 qt. oblong baking dish with the garlic then butter it well. Make layers of potatoes and mushrooms until all are used, ending with potatoes. Sprinkle each layer with cheese, parsley and onions. Pour cream over top. Sprinkle on the extra Swiss cheese and dot with butter. Bake covered with foil at 375 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
