Homemade Turtles

This is a favorite of my family and friends. I only make these at Christmas but they wished I made them all year long!!!

Ingredients

• 22 caramels
• 2 tsp cream (I use half & half)
• dipping chocolate
• 1 1/4 c pecan pieces

Preparation

Step 1

Melt caramels and cream in double boiler until creamy.

Spread pecans out on cookie sheet in relatively thin layer. Drop caramel by teaspoon onto pecans

In the meantime, melt chocolate in double boiler. Once caramel is set enough to handle, place each into melted chocolate. Cover both sides and tap off excess. Place on wax paper until set.
