Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup white flour
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 2 tbsp honey

Preparation
Step 1
Mix ingredients together then add 2 cups hot water and mix. Add 1 cup white flour and mix. Then add 1 cup white flour and 1 tsp salt.
Dump onto container and mix. Knead for approximately 12 minutes.
Let rise in greased bowl for 1-1/2 hours. Roll out and cut in 2 pieces. Roll and fold ends under and place in greased bread pans. Grease tops and let rise for 1 hour.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and brush tops with butter.
