- 1 16 oz. can whole cranberry sauce
- 1 cup bottled French salad dressing
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. meaty chicken pieces (breasts, thighs, and drumsticks)
- Hot cooked rice (optional)

Step 1
Preheat oven to325 degrees.
In a medium bowl, stir together cranberry sauce, salad dressing, and dry soup mix. If desired, skin chicken. Arrange chicken pieces, meaty sides down, in a 3 qt. baking dish. Pour cranberry mixture over chicken pieces.
Bake, uncovered, for about 1 1/2 hours or until the chicken is tender and no longer pink (170 for breasts, 180 for thighs and drumsticks), stirring glaze and spooning over chicken.
If desired, serve over cooked rice.
