Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened (not margarine)
- 2/3 cup icing sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar together. Mix in vanilla and flour. Divide dough into 2 equal portions.
Add cocoa to 1 portion. Mix well. Roll chocolate portion between 2 layers of waxed paper. Roll to a size of 7 1/2 x 12
inches. Remove top layer of wax paper. Roll white dough portion between 2 layers of of waxed paper, to the same size. Remove
top layer of wax paper. Invert chocolate layer keeping ends together at 1 end. Remove top paper.
Roll from short end with edges even, removing bottom paper as you roll.
Wrap and chill overnight or longer. Slice 1/3 inch thick.
Bake at 350 F for 10 to 12 minutes.
