Ingredients

  • 1 tin bean sprouts, drained or fresh if available
  • 1 small package chow mein noodles
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 large celery stalks, diced
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt and pepper, soya sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Put a small amount of oil in a wok or fry pan.
Add onions and celery stir fry 2 to 3 minutes.
Add sugar, salt and pepper while doing this.
Stir in mushrooms, bean sprouts, water and soya sauce to taste.
Add noodles, cover and steam for 5 minutes.
