Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1 qt. elderberries or 4 cups
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour or 5 tbsp. tapioca
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • Pie crust:
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup Crisco
  • This makes 1-9 inch pie shell( mix 3-4 times for cobbler)

Preparation

Step 1

Cook down elderberries, add sugar, tapioca, & cinnamon. Cook down.
Mix and place pie crust. Pour in elderberries top with 1 1/2 tbsp. oleo.
Bake at 400 degrees until light brown.
