  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Fruit, nuts chocolate or strawberry syrup, etc
  • 1 (1 pound) can
  • 1 (3 pound) can
  • ice
  • rock salt

Step 1

1. Mix milk, cream, sugar vanilla (optional fruit, nuts
flavoring)
2. Put mixture in 1 pound coffee can with a tight cover;
tape cover with freezer tape.
3. Put coffee can in a 3 pound can
4. Crush 3 trays of ice cubes; put between the cans
with 1/2-3/4 cup rock salt
5. Roll can on the floor for 10 minutes; if not solid add
more ice and salt and roll until the consistency of ice
cream
6. Stir well and serve
