Apple Crisp

I found this recipe on a card in a very old recipe book. It's a little too sweet, so if you try it, I would decrease the brown sugar to 1 1/2 cups.

Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Filling:
- 6 sliced apples
- 3/4 cup sugar
- Cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Crust:
Pat half of mixture in bottom of 9x13 pan
Filling:
1. Mix well.
2. Spread over crust.
3. Sprinkle with rest of the topping.
4. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
5. Serve warm with whipped cream, whipped topping
when cool.
