Ingredients
- 1 pound dried navy beans, rinsed, picked over and
- soaked overnight
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1/3 cupbrown sugar
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoonsalt
- 1/2 cup ketchup

Preparation
Step 1
1. Drain beans, put in Dutch oven and cover beans
with fresh water.
2. Simmer on stovetop for 30 minutes, or until just
tender, drain.
3. Combine drained beans, water and remaining
ingredients in crock pot.
4. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, until beans
are very tender
