Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 5 T cocoa
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 stick margarine

- 1/3 cup milk
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Mix flour and sugar in large bowl. In a saucepan mix and bring to a boil; margarine, cocoa, shortening and water. Pour liguid over dry ingredients and mix well. Add eggs and vanila. Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk. Add to the mixture. Mix well and pour itno greased 11x16 pan (large cookie sheet with sides) Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.
Frosting:
Begin when cake has been baking for 5 minutes. Using same saucepan, mix 1 stick of butter, cocoa and milk. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add sugar. Mix well and add pecans and vanilla. Pour over cake after removing from oven.
