Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation
Step 1
1. Brown meat in a large skillet; drain
2. Add hot water, milk and pasta
3. Add spices; bring to a boil
4. Cover and simmer on low about 12 minutes until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally
5. Stir in 1/2 cup cheese; cover until cheese melts
6. When cheese is melted, turn off heat and uncover
7. Let stand for 5 minutes
It will thicken as it stands
Make in advance by pre-measuring the pasta; put in sandwich-size bag.
Snack-size baggies are perfect for the sauce mix. APut together in a container and label
*Add 1 cup red or pinto beans, crushed red pepper or cayenne for heat
