Ingredients
- Cake
- 1 box Duncan Hines Devil’s Food cake mix
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup Cheerwine soft drink
- 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
- Frosting
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1 lb box powdered sugar or 2 1/2 cups
- 1/3 cup Cheerwine soft drink
- 1/4 tsp almond extract

Preparation
Step 1
Cake
1. Mix the cake mix as directed on the box, use Cheerwine in place of water for the liquid. Also, add the almond extract.
2. Bake the cake as directed on the cake mix box.
Frosting-
1. Mix together butter and Cheerwine with a mixer.
2. Add cocoa, powdered sugar, and almond extract and mix until smooth.
3. Spread frosting on cool Cheerwine Cake.
