Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb sage pork sausage
  • 16 oz dark red kidney beans
  • 16 oz northern beans
  • 2- 16 oz cans of black beans
  • 1 large onion cut into 1/2" peices
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 28 oz can of store brand original baked beans
  • 16 oz pinto beans
  • 16 oz navy or cannellini beans
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1/2 cup Franks RedHot
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cook bacon, crumble, set aside. Cook beef, sausage & garlic in bacon grease over medium heat until onions soften and meat is cooked. Drain grease. Stir in brown sugar, ketchup, mustard and Franks. Reduce heat to Med-Low. Bring to a boil and cook 20 minutes, stirring often. Add beans and bacon and cook 20 minutes more. Preheat oven to 350*. Bake beans for 30 minutes, let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
