Ingredients

• 3/4 cup butter, not shortening
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups sifted flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups ground nuts
• powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 350
2. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy with an
electric mixer
3. Add in egg and vanilla, beat well
4. Sift flour and salt, stir into creamed mixture
5. Add nuts, blend well by hand
6. Shape into small balls
7. Bake for 20 minutes
8. Cool slightly and coat with powdered sugar(put
powdered sugar in zipper bag; add cookies, a
few at a time and shake to coat)
9. Cool completely and coat with powdered sugar again
