Ingredients

  • 2 packages (16 squares) Baker's semisweet chocolate
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350

Coarsely chop 8 squares of chocolate, set aside

Nuke the rest of the chocolate in a large bowl on high for 1-2 minutes. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.

Stir in sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla

Stir in flour and baking powder

Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts

Drop by 1/4 cup on ungreased baking pans

Bake 12-13 minutes until puffed and soft and feel set to touch

Cool 1 minute on pans
