Ingredients
- 1 angel food cake
- 2 10-ounce pkgs. frozen strawberrries
- 1 pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 8 0z. cool whip

Preparation
Step 1
1. Drain thawed strawberries reserving syrup. Dissolve gelatin and sugar in hot water. Add 1 cup syrup and chill until slightly thickened. Cut cake into small pieces. Arrange the pieces in a 9 x 12 baking dish. Fold drained berries into gelatin and pour over cake pieces. Press cake pieces down. Refrigate until set. Frost with the cool whip.
