Rhubarb Dessert

I couldn't find another recipe similar to this on the web. I found it hand written on a card in an old recipe book

Ingredients

• Add:
• 2 c. diced rhubarb
• 1 c. sugar
• Mix rhubarb & sugar & let stand until rhubarb starts to form juice (about 1/2 hour).
• 1 egg
• 1 c. flour
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp salt

Cooking time 90mins

Preparation

Step 1

Pour into a greased 8x8 pan

Sprinkle with:
½ c. chopped nuts
½ c. brown sugar

Bake at 350 for 1 hour

Double for 9x13 pan
