Ingredients

  • 1 7 oz package of spaghetti (broken in half)
  • 1 package of chicken –apprxoximately 5 pieces
  • 1 carton whipping cream

Step 1

Boil spaghetti. Cook chicken on medium in microwave or boil until done but not overdone. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Add ½ teaspoon fresh garlic (chopped garlic in jar is fine.) Then add 1 cup of fresh mushrooms sliced. Saute until mushrooms absort most of liquid. Drain and reserve mushrooms. Mix mushrooms and spaghetti together.

In sauce pan bring 2 cups of water to boil with 2 chicken bouillon cubes. Add 3 tablespoons butter or chicken broth. Add 2 tablespoons flour, gradually and cook on medium heat.

Remove from heat and add 1 cup of whipping cream (which has been heated). Add to broth mixture. Pour ½ over spaghetti and ½ over chicken. Heat oven to 375 degrees. In deep, oveal baking dish pour spaghetti. Make hole in middle and pour chicken in middle. Pour Parmensan cheese on top and bake on 375 for aprx 25-30 min—but don’t brown too much.
