Ingredients

  • 1/2 Stick Butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 Cups Sugar - Plus 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 Cup Self Rising Flour
  • 1 Cup Whole Milk
  • 2 Cups Fresh Berries

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 3 quart baking dish.

Mix 1 cup of sugar with the flour and milk. Whisk in melted butter.

Rinse berries and pat fry. Pour batter into baking dish and sprinkle with berries. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over the berries.

Bake one hour. With 2 minutes remaining, sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. sugar.
