Ingredients
- 2 sleeves (4-3/4 by 2-1/2 inch) graham crackers
- 1-1/2 sticks unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts, pecans or almonds

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°. Line a 15 by 10 by 1 inch baking pan with foil, leaving a 2 inch overhang at each end.
Line the bottom of pan with graham crackers.
Melt butter in heavy saucepan then add brown sugar and salt and cook whisking until the mixture is smooth and well-combined. (about 1 minute)
Pour mixture over crackers, spreading evenly and bake in the middle of the oven until golden brown and bubbling, about 10 minutes.
Scatter chocolate chips evenly over crackers and bake in oven until chocolate chips are soft, about 1 minute.
Remove pan from oven and spread chocolate evenly over crackers..
Sprinkle nuts (I sometimes add dried fruit or anything I think may taste good) over chocolate and cool in pan for 30 minutes.
Place pan and freeze until firm. (About 15 minutes or longer.)
Carefully lift crackers from pan, peel off foil and break into serving pieces.
