Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. Butter or margarine, softened to room temperature
  • 1 lb. Graham crackers, crush and roll until very fine
  • 1 can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
  • 1 lb. Melted marshmallows (in double boiler) (may omit if desired or can use 2 jars of marshmallow cream)
  • (We omitted marshmallows; still good.)
  • 1 lb. Of candied fruit
  • 1/2 lb. Candied cherries
  • 1/2 lb. Candied pineapple
  • 1 box of white or red raisins
  • 1 quart of chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, Eagle Brand Condensed Milk and graham crackers until well blended (by hand). Then add the candied fruits, raisins, pecans and melted marshmallows (if desired to use marshmallows). Mix all ingredients well by hand and then shape into two separate loaves on buttered waxed paper. Wrap in waxed paper and then wrap in aluminum foil. Refrigerate until ready to slice and eat. Keep refrigerated.
