Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian bread (10-12 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon snipped fresh basil leaves or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • shredded mozzarella cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F. Using Serrated Bread Knife, cut bread into 1-inch-thick slices. Place bread slices on Classic Round Stone.

Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat. Add garlic pressed with Garlic Press, basil and salt to butter; mix well. Brush butter mixture on both sides of bread slices using Pastry Brush. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake 13-15 minutes or until bread is crisp around edges. Serve hot.
