Ingredients
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 1 cup green peppers, chopped
- 1/4 cup red peppers, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 - 1 tsp. jalapeno pepper
- 2 15oz. cans diced tomatoes (not drained)
- 1 8oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 13 oz. package smoked sausage or turkey sausage
- 1/2 - 3/4 lb. shrimp, cooked
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 TB. worcestershire sauce
- Dashes of Hot Sauce
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt & Pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Saute sausage, onion, over medium heat until browned. Add celery, peppers and garlic for 1 minute. Add to crockpot. Add tomatoes,sauce and seasonings to crockpot.
Cook on low 5-6 hours. Add 1 tsp flour to 2 tsp of water to make slury and add to crockpot to thicken sauce as needed. Add shrimp and parsley. Heat through and serve over rice.
