  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. Karo syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. licorice oil
  • 1 tsp. black paste coloring

Step 1

Put all ingredients in heavy sauce pan. Cook stirring constantly until it reaches 232º or soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Add licorice oil flavoring and black coloring. Pour into buttered 9x13” pan and cool. Cut into squares and wrap.
