Sour Cream Chocolate Cookies aka Brownie Cookies

Amy renamed these, thank you. Much shorter than "chocolate frosted chocolate" cookies. Soft cookie that tastes like a brownie
(I ran out of semi-sweet chocolate chips for the frosting for this picture. I used peanut butter and milk chocolate
chips instead)

Ingredients
- Cookies:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- Frosting:
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Step 1
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Lightly grease cookie sheets
Cookies:
1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar with mixer
until light and fluffy
2. Add sour cream, eggs and vanilla; blend well
3. Stir in flour, soda salt and cocoa by hand; mixing
well
4. Stir in nuts
5. Drop by spoonfuls on lightly greased baking sheets
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set
7. Cool on wire racks
Frosting:
1. Bring milk, sugar and butter to a boil over medium
high heat in a medium pan, stirring frequently
2. Boil 30 seconds and remove from heat
3. Stir in chocolate chips and stir until smooth and
spreadable
