Ingredients

• Sauce Maison:
• 2 lb. ground beef
• 1/4 cup shallots
• 1/4 cup onion
• 1/2 cup DRY bread crumbs or Holland Rusks
• Dash of nutmeg
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper
• 2 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
• 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
• 2 eggs
• 1/4 pound butter
• 1 tablespoon Worchestershire Sauce
• 3/4 cup drippings from beef
• 1 teaspoon parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Meat Patties-
Combine all ingredients thoroughly; shape into 6 oval patties. Grill on broiler or frying pan. Serve with Maison Sauce poured over patties.

Sauce Maison-
Melt butter. Add Worchestershire and cook 1 minute.
Add parsley and serve over patties.
