Desserts - Coca Cola Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups plain flour; 2 cups sugar, 2 sticks margarine; 3 tablespoons cocoa, 1 cup coca cola; 1/2 cup buttermilk; 1 teaspoon baking soda; 2 eggs beaten, 1 teaspoon vanilla; 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
• Icing to Coca Cola Cake
• 1/2 cup margarine; 2 tablespoons cocoa, 6 tablespoons coca cola; 1 box powdered sugar; 1 cup broken pecans. Bring to boil first three ingredients (margarine, cocoa, and coca cola).

Preparation

Step 1

Sift flour and sugar together in bowl. Heat margarine, marshmallows, cocoa and coca cola together. Pour over flour mixture. Add beaten eggs and vanilla; mix well. Put baking soda in buttermilk and add. Bake in long pan at 350 for 45 min or longer at 325.

Icing to Coca Cola Cake

½ cup margarine; 2 tablespoons cocoa, 6 tablespoons coca cola; 1 box powdered sugar; 1 cup broken pecans. Bring to boil first three ingredients (margarine, cocoa, and coca cola).

Pour over sugar and beat. Add pecans and spread on cake. (I always add a little milk for the consistency I want.)
