Cherry Snowballs

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1/4 cup icing sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 cup ground almonds
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Maraschino cherries – well drained

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar.
Add remaining ingredients and mix.
Flatten 1 tsp dough in hand and wrap around a cherry.
Roll in hands to make ball. Bake at 325F for 35 mins.
Roll in white sugar while hot.
