Southern Creamed Cookes

Ingredients

• 1 Cup Shortening
• 2 Cups Sugar
• 3 Eggs
• 1 Tsp. Vanilla
• 1 Cup Sour Milk (1 Tbsp. vinegar)
• 5 Cups Flour
• 1 Tsp. Salt
• 3 Tsp. Baking Powder
• 1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda
• 1 Package Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening, add sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and milk. Mix thoroughly. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add chocolate chips. Drop on pan. Bake at 350 F for 10 - 15 minutes until brown on bottom.
