- 1 package yellow cake mix (regular size)
- 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant lemon pudding mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- Confectioners' sugar

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, dry pudding mix, water, oil, and eggs; beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Stir in the poppy seeds.
Pour into a greased and floured 10-in. fluted tube pan. Bake at 350° for 48-52 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with confectioners' sugar.
Yield: 12 servings.
