Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal, uncooked and ground in a blender
  • 2 tsp. your favorite seasoing (Italian)
  • 3 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. nsa baking powder
  • 2-3 tsp. water
  • Sauce:
  • 1 small can nsa low sodium tomato sauce
  • 1-2 tsp. minced garlic
  • Italian seasonings to taste ( or substitute oregano, basil, and thyme)
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • Sugar substitute to taste
  • Toppings:
  • 4 oz. ground turkey or slicked chicken breast
  • Veggies: tomatoes, onions, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, etc.

Preparation

Step 1

Crust:
1. Mix dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
2. Add the water a teaspoon at at ime until your mixture forms a ball.
3. After your ball is formed, use a little extra oat flour to roll out your crust. Your crust should spread out 6-8 inches in diameter.

Sauce:
Mix all together in a mixiing bowl and taste. Adjust seasoings and sugar substitute to taste.

Toppings:
1. Spread your sauce on your crust and add your toppings.
2. Bake in the oven at 350 degree until the crust is springy, about 20 minutes. The edge of the crust should be light brown.
