Ingredients

  • Turkey, skinned and cleaned, all fat off:
  • Soak in salt water 1 hour using 1/2 cup salt
  • Rinse
  • Add:
  • 8 cups water
  • 8 T soy sauce
  • 4 T worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Seasoning salt
  • (White wine, 2 cups, Barbara didn't)
  • 1 cup brown sugar of Georgia Pure Cane Syrup (Barbara will give)

Preparation

Step 1

In a big pot, marinate 12 hours with lid in the refrigerator.
Add garlic salt and onions salt if you want.

Cook 3 1/2 - 4 hours for a 20 pound turkey at 325 degrees.

Roast, covered with foil.

Uncover the last 10 - 15 minutes.
