• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 tablespoons light cream
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 1/3 cups flour

Step 1

Cream butter; beat in sugar, egg, cream and vanilla. Sift salt, baking powder and flour together; add to creamed mixture. Mix well and chill dough. Drop from tip of spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 50-60 cookies.
