  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Shortening
  • 2 3/4 Cups Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • Cinnamon and Sugar to Roll Cookies in

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Mix together the butter, sugar, shortening and eggs with hand mixer. Blend Cream of Tartar, baking soda and salt with the flour and then into the wet mixture.

Roll into balls and then into the Cinnamon and Sugar mixture until coated.

Bake on ungreased cookies sheet for 8-10 minutes.
