Ingredients

• 8 eggs separated
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• pinch salt
• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 1/2 cup orange juice
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• red jelly
• 1-2 whips,whipped
• strawberries
• confectioner's sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg whites with 1/2 cup sugar. Cream yolks with rest of sugar,salt and vanilla until lemon colored. Add flour and orange juice,alternately. Bake at 350 for one hr. Whip a whip. add 2-3 tbs confectioner's sugar. Slice cake in 1/2 horizontally when cool. Spread jelly on cake then whip,then slice strawberries. Layer twice. Frost the entire cake with the rest of the whip and decorate with strawberries.
