- 1/2 cup butter, softened; 1/2 cup Crisco, 1 cup powdered sugar; 1 egg; 1 1/2 teaspoon almond extract; 1 teaspoon vanilla; 2 1/2 cups plain flour; 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon red food coloring.

Step 1
Mix well with spoon and put red in 1 bowl and white in 1 bowl. Twine red and white together. Sprinkle with white sugar and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 for 10 minutes.
