Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. margarine, softened
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 t. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. chopped pecans (do not double)
- 1 T. sugar
- 48 Rolo candy (9oz package)

Preparation
Step 1
In small bowl, combine flour, cocoa and soda, blend well. In large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar and margarine until fluffy. Add vanilla & eggs, beat well. Add flour mixture. Stir in 1/2 c. pecans.
For each cookie, with floured hands shape about 1 T. of dough around one rolo, covering completely. In small bowl, combine remaining pecans and 1 T. sugar. Press one side of each ball into mixture. Place nut side up, 2 inches apart on parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake 350* for 9 minutes or until set and slightly cracked. Cool 2 mins and remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely on wire rack.
